Gratitude for opportunities to serve God.
The front of the ferry, on its way to the islands
Next Wednesday, all of us but Curtis and Mums will be taking a 10 day ministry trip to the islands on which we have spent much of the last decade. For Papa, there are hours of intensive counseling sessions that he will be leading. For the rest of us, there will be evangelism ministry AND a great time of reuniting with the Christians there, getting updates on the state of the church, and engaging in skating and hiking with some of those who have become Christians. We're especially looking forward to revisiting the stretch of deserted beach under the cliffs by our old house, where we have had many a wild walk on a stormy day.
Today I almost finished the last of my Organic Chemistry 1 course reading, and am now moving into the final push of review and preparation for the final exam next week. Emily spent the day with Curtis at medical school, and the rest of us took a break in the afternoon to ride a couple miles of the Cady Hill mountain bike trails in Stowe.
It's a good life.
