A few of us first attended the Global Missions Health Conference back in 2011, and we haven't missed a year since. It is the largest Christian medical missions conference in the world, and with several thousand people there, I am always energized by the incredible sense of purpose and will to share the Good News of Christ our Savior.
Every time we go we make new friends and get inspired by the stories of missionaries trusting in God through the worst circumstances, doctors and nurses fighting to save the unborn children here in the U.S. and elsewhere, and students in all specialties motivated not by a drive for money or fame, but by a desire to get the skills they will need to gain access into the toughest of closed countries and share their faith there.

We are leaving early Wednesday morning to make the 1,000 mile drive to Louisville, where we will start the conference on Thursday afternoon. I hope to have some pictures and thoughts to post on this next week!
