Morro Bay, California. Another one of our favorite places, this is a spot I will always remember for the blissful time we spent as a family resting up and relaxing here for a day or two.
It was the spring of 2013. Austin and I had just taken the California Bar (which we had both passed, although we wouldn't know that for a few more months), and after six months of almost 24/7 study, it was time for a break!
Since we were in the middle of our summer trip around the states, we simply pulled our trailer over to a little campground right across the road from the beach, and settled in to put away the books, turn off the computers and phones, unplug the clock, and just enjoy ourselves and each other for a couple days.
One of the many memories we made was building this sandcastle together.
There is nothing quite as enjoyable as spending time with those you love the most!
