Thankfulness Day 25: Winter has arrived!

Snow started falling all of a sudden last night, and when we woke up this morning, there was a white blanket over everything! It must have been a really calm night, because the snow was piled high on even the tiniest of twigs so that the entire forest was white.

Just yesterday I was thinking that it was still fall, and now it seems that winter has arrived. The golf course down the road just closed a few days ago, so it's high time to get out the cross-country skis and head over there!
