Last week, the five of us kids had an incredible day skiing at Mad River Glen!

Ibs - our official ski deal finder - found us an online coupon to ski there for only $3.50 each! With that unbeatable price, we couldn't refuse, so we went out for the day.

It turned out to be a rather icy day, with freezing rain blasting across the mountain, and only the most diehard skiers - or skiers with day specific deals :) - were out, so we had the slopes to ourselves. And due to a recent thaw-freeze cycle, Mad River Glen's famous moguls had turned to rock-hard icy monsters by the time we reached them!

We had an absolute blast, and enjoyed testing our skills against what is known as the hardest skiing in the East. And even better, we just found out that they are having the same deal on again next week! You know where we'll be then ;)

Mums, Isabella, and myself just returned home from a three day whirlwind trip to Ohio, where I was privileged to interview at the Northeast Ohio Medical University for their class of 2017.

Interviews done, we hit the road again Thursday afternoon, and crossed the bridge into Vermont just as President Trump was taking his oath of office.

It was a great trip, and the tollroad miles flew by as we read books aloud and munched on chocolates!! My favorite book of the drive was Essentialism: The Disciplined Pursuit of Less by Greg McKeown.

During our absence, 9 inches of fresh powder fell on Vermont, so Ibs and I were itching to get back on the slopes. When we arrived home, we made a record turn-around, and were headed up to the slopes 15 minutes later! Sure enough, the trails were amazing, and we spent the next few hours finding new lines through the Wilderness Woods at Bolton Valley.

We had an awesome bluebird day out at Bolton Valley recently, and took advantage of the late afternoon sunset to get in some beautiful runs. Disclaimer: As a good MK (missionary kid), I must include a reassuring disclaimer... that is, Bolton Valley Ski Resort offers us season passes for only $160, and since we live 20 minutes away and can get skis and boots for $2 per pair at the thrift store - when everyone wants the latest gear, old equipment is almost given away :) - it's hard to refuse so much fun for such a price!

This past year has been simply amazing, and I'm looking forward to filling in my millions of loyal readers with an update soon. But for now, here are a few pics from the best part of last week - flying my first solo in the little Cessna 150 above!

Flying is AWESOME. There is really no other way to put it. The freedom of wind and sky, the country spreading out beneath, the lazy hum of the engine as you soar higher and higher into the pure blue above...........I could go on and on.

Off the ground!

A student's first solo flight is supposed to be relatively uneventful, except, that is, for the stress of having to land a few thousand pounds of metal on a narrow strip without messing up. You only have one chance at this, after all...

Thankfully, my solo turned out very well, but little did I know just how wild it could have become! The airport was unusually busy that day, so after waiting my turn, I took off behind an Aztec twin-engine, climbed to 1,200 feet, and began my rectangular flight pattern to go around and land.

Turning downwind - paralleling the runway opposite to the direction in which I would land - I kept an eye on a plane down in the run-up area. Finally, just as I was at the north end of the runway, the other pilot decided to take off, and taxied out onto the runway in a very leisurely manner.

This meant I had to extend my downwind northward. Since I was flying at over 100mph, the miles whizzed by, and soon I was over 4 miles north of the airport. What I didn't realize at the time was that the Canadian border is just 4.9 miles north of the airport!

At last the other plane cleared the runway, and I was able to turn base, under half a mile from the border, and likely under the scrutiny of border guards from the ground. We heard later of a friend who had accidentally flown over the border and was chased down by Canadian fighter jets -- what a thought! :/

Anyway, after a nice unintended flight over Lake Champlain, I spotted the runway again and made a successful landing!

Dear Future Wife,

It's a beautiful day here in Vermont as autumn slowly sets in, working its wonders across the tree covered hills. And I wanted to let you know that I am thinking about you.

I think of you when the sun comes up in the morning, as I'm sitting by the window drinking coffee and memorizing God's Word. I think of how you'd like the way the sunlight filters down through the trees, lighting up the scampering chipmunks.

I think of you as I study. Think of how I, by God's grace, will be able to provide for you and for our family as a result of these hours upon hours of pouring over books.

I think of you when I see the smile of a young mother cradling her baby. I can see you in her eyes.

I think of you when others are falling to temptation, and I pray for you. And I cry out to God for His grace and mercy, that by His grace, I might stand strong in the day of temptation, staying pure for you - physically, mentally, and visually.

I think of you when I hear a girl laugh. Think of how you will laugh, and how I'd like to laugh with you.

I think of you often.

Forever and ever I remain faithfully yours, waiting for and thinking of you.

Isabella and I, home from an outing together

The last two weeks have been busier than I can remember for a very long time! Here are a few of the things we have been up to:

> Sending Curtis off to his first rotation away - obstetrics and gynecology about 4 hours away. He's been doing great so far, and just delivered his first baby yesterday!

> Celebrating Emily's 22nd birthday! #we'vegotanawesomesister

> Taking a quick camping trip over Ems' birthday to celebrate it with Curtis.

> Realizing part way through our camping trip that the Excursion's transmission is going out - i.e. stopped at an intersection with 20 cars behind us, and the vehicle treats "drive" as "neutral." #flareprayersstillwork

> Spending time with good friends from Quebec for a day

> Getting all my transcripts sent to Thomas Edison State College and AMCAS (American Medical College Admissions Service). When you've done college online, you have A LOT of transcripts!

> Spending two days scraping, stretching, and generally wrassling with two gigantic yak hides. More on that later...

> Harvesting thousands of heads of garlic at a local farm, and smelling like a walking garlic clove for days after (actually, I can still smell it on my hands)

> Getting TB testing so I can shadow a couple of doctors

> Going for a great mountain bike ride with the family

> Eating yak tongue chili - a first!

> Going out for cheesecake and present shopping with my lil sis - we're giving Ems her birthday presents when Curtis is back in town next week

It's a busy time, but a good one. My medical school applications are coming together, and I'm looking forward to shadowing both in the clinic and OR in a little over a week. 9 credits of math are yelling for attention, but I like math, so that shouldn't be too bad.

Right now, it's a beautiful day, and I'm just glad to be alive!

Isaac Adamshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03210611849967643913noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2100117710226855575.post-35052955067232618462015-07-06T17:38:00.002-07:002015-07-06T17:38:48.007-07:00Done with the MCAT!
It's over at last! After 100 days of studying till my head spun, I'm finally done with the Medical College Admissions Test.

I find big tests like this to be a very interesting experience. In many ways, they test not only the material officially covered, but also what you're made of, like how you handle stress. And they show your relationship, or lack thereof, with God.

For me, testing is a scary, but rewarding experience I often look forward to. It's scary because I know it will be stressful, and I don't like the feeling I get when I look at a question and know that I don't have a clue how to answer it. But it's also rewarding because I know that when the way gets rough, when I have no idea where to start on a problem, then I feel God right beside me. Holding my hand, guiding my mind, giving me strength.

The morning of the MCAT I took a prayer walk down our road, far enough to reach the bend where it curves down and away, opening up an amazing view of Camel's Hump, a nearby peak we like to climb. I was sharing my heart with God - my fears, my dreams, my desire for His will to be done on the test. And suddenly, these lines of a song came into my head (From "Oceans" by Hillsong):

Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders

Let me walk upon the water

Wherever you would call me

Take me deeper than my feet could ever wander

Where my faith would be made stronger

In the presence of my savior

I have found this to be so true on many occasions, and especially while testing. When I allow God to take me deeper than I would ever go myself, past my comfort zone and out upon the unknown waters, I find that the farther I go, the more His Grace abounds.

And that's how it was on the MCAT. Despite the massive nature of the test, and the fact that much of my medical school applications hung on the next 7.5 hours and 230 questions, I had an amazing sense of peace and calm. I felt that God was there with me, and knew exactly what score He wanted me to get, and how it would all work into His larger plan for my life.

So, while I wait the next 4 weeks or so until the grades come out, I am able to rest assured that God is working in the entire process, and that regardless of how I do on the exam, His will will be done. And at the end of the day, that's all I care about.

And then, a couple days after the test, when I wasn't expecting a thing, we were having a family evening reading a book out loud and working on various projects, when Curtis left for a minute and returned with a long roll of leather.

"This is from the family," he said. "Just a little something to celebrate your big accomplishment."

I unrolled the leather, and there, just like I was in a dream, lay this beautiful Sears, Roebuck and Co. lever action .30-30 rifle! I was literally speechless!

Needless to say, I am incredibly blessed by my family - they're amazing!

Recently I've been blown away by the generosity of the Vermont people. Everyone here looks out for the community, and they're quick to help out or do you a good turn whenever they can.

Just the other day Augs found the red tractor above for sale in a Craigslist ad - a fixer upper, as it was not running. He's always looking for good projects like that, so he went out and took a look. As it turned out, the seller had bought the tractor over 20 years ago, and it was rather an old friend. He was so happy to have a young guy planning to fix up the old machine that he just gave Augs the tractor!

Of course, Augs being so good with engines, he had it working within two days, and as I write, he is outside using it to mow the lawn.

Augs, using the wheels of our old mower to replace the hopelessly flat front tires on the red tractor. He was using the front wheels here, but it turned out the rear wheels worked a lot better in the end.

Not 24 hours later, I was checking the community email for the day, and suddenly spotted someone giving a way a rototiller! It too needed work, but that wasn't a problem for us, so within minutes we were heading out to take a look.

It turned out to be another elderly gentleman, who said he'd raised six kids on food grown in the gardens this thing made. Another piece of history, loved and cared for like one of his own.

Papa and I spent Sunday afternoon cleaning it up, and after removing a large mouse nest from in the fan and cleaning a lot of gunk out of the carburetor, we had it running!

Once I finish, I'll take a couple of pictures for the elderly man who gave us the tiller - I know he'd be really happy to see it getting used again. And that makes me happy.

To end on a sweet note, here's a vanilla milkshake Ibs and I had the other day when it was just us at home, and we felt like a treat. We made it from a Paula Deen recipe on the Food Network website, and it was amazing! (But not even a shade healthy!)

Taking a look at the inner workings of the gear shifter

The past few weeks have brought a sudden flood of unexpected projects. First there was the van's power steering trouble. Then, only a short time later, our Ford excursion quit going into first gear. Thankfully, given the symptoms, Papa deduced that it was only a linkage problem, and after wrassling around under the dashboard for a while, I found the problem - simply a couple of loose bolts!

It now works good as new, and we're praising the Lord it wasn't the transmission going out.

One down, another coming...

Just a few days later, I'm sitting at the kitchen table studying enzyme kinetics when I hear Ems calling from the laundry room.

Ems: "Ike, can you come look at something?"

Me: "Coming!"

Ems: "Do you see what I see?"

Oh no! A large puddle seeping from underneath the washer, and growing fast.

There's only one thing to do - open up the washer and attempt a diagnosis. Thankfully, we've had this one open before to give it a good cleaning (Note: you probably don't even want to know what is living inside your washer. It may look clean on the outside, but inside......)

I open it up. There it is. Water seeping from a crack in the drain water pump. Finding the part number, I locate one on Amazon for $15, then call a local parts shop to get a second price. Only thing is, I should have thought to call just a parts shop, and not one that also sells new machines.

Me: "Hi, I need a replacement for a leaky Kenmore washer drain water pump."

Her (sounding skeptical): "What makes you think it's leaking?"

Me: "Well, there's water all over the floor, and it's pouring out of a crack in the pump"

Her: "You sure there's a crack?"

Long story short, after assuring her that yes, I knew what I was doing, and yes, we did want to repair this machine even thought it is 10 years old, their price turned out to be three times Amazon's.

Amazon won, and a few days later we had the new part. It was a simple matter of a few clips and hoses to put in the new pump, and the washer is now running again without a stray drip in sight!

Despite the inconvenience of things breaking down, I must say I'm always a little excited when something does go wrong, since I get such enjoyment out of getting in there and seeing if I can fix it. Next on my list is the Excursion passenger door, which currently refuses to open!
From now on, we were on our own in that department. Papa fossicked around under the hood for a bit, and being as amazing with engines as he is, soon discovered the problem, now buried deep under a layer of oozing, purplish power steering fluid.

Turns out the van had stopped taking its medicine, and was steadily getting rid of the fluid from the top of the power steering pressure hose that runs from the top of the fluid pump down and around to its destination near the driver's wheel. By this time, it had successfully covered most of the engine in the stuff.

Now, we're all can-do by nature, and love a good challenge, not to mention loving a good savings, so pretty soon the same thought was niggling at the back of all of our brains. If it's only a hose gone bad, could we replace the hose ourselves?!

Well, long story short, and several hours of wrassling later, the van is good as new again! We took the old hose out and replaced it with a new one, cleaned up the engine a bit, and flushed the system with fresh fluid.

And we were just in time, too, because the Cady Hill mountain bike trails up in Stowe opened a few days later, and we needed the van to get our bikes back and forth! So, after a good hard working day of studies, we threw our bikes in, and headed for the trails.

Only thing was, one of these trails was called "Bear's Trail," and this particular bear seemed to have woken from its winter hibernation a bit on the grumpy side. None of us are reckless, so we were all taking it pretty careful along there, until this one hole up and grabbed my front wheel, throwing me off the front of the bike!

Somewhere in the process, the gears in the front got a bite of my leg! So, my riding to injury ratio is at an unfortunate 1:1 right now - it looks like I'll have to get out there and improve that!

Excerpt from The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency, the first in one of my favorite feel-good series, by Alexander McCall Smith:

"So I left the mines . . . and came back to Botswana in 1960. I cannot tell you how full my heart was when I crossed the border back into Botswana and left South Africa behind me forever. In that place I had felt every day that I might die. Danger and sorrow hung over Johannesburg like a cloud, and I could never be happy there. In Botswana it was different. There were no policemen with dogs; there were no totsis with knives, waiting to rob you; you did not wake up every morning to a wailing siren calling you down into the hot earth. There were not the same great crowds of men, all from some distant place, all sickening for home, all wanting to be somewhere else. I had left a prison - a great, groaning prison, under the sunlight.

When I came home that time, and got off the bus at Mochudi, and saw the kopje and the chief's place and the goats, I just stood and cried. A man came up to me - a man I did not know - and he put his hand on my shoulder and asked me whether I was just back from the mines. I told him that I was, and he just nodded and left his hand there until I had stopped weeping. Then he smiled and walked away. He had seen my wife coming for me, and he did not want to interfere with the home-coming of a husband."Isaac Adamshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03210611849967643913noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2100117710226855575.post-42050048819543038722015-03-15T18:44:00.000-07:002015-03-15T18:44:26.048-07:00A new chapterAfter 21 days, 800 pages, 16 quizzes, 3 midterms, and 1 final, I am finally finished with biochemistry, which marks the end of my premed sciences and the start of a new study chapter! It was quite a feeling to submit my last exam for the University of New England this week.

And now it's on to the MCAT. The clock is ticking at just under 100 days to go, and I'm already deep into the 2,700 pages of material I have to refresh myself on, covering biology, chemistry, organic chemistry, biochemistry, statistics/research, psychology, analytical reasoning and writing, and behavioral sciences.

Needless to say, life has consisted primarily of studies over the past two weeks - Sundays and our daily exercise outing have provided good diversions. Winter still has a strong grip on Vermont, but Spring is in the air, and it seems like almost everyday we can see the snow getting thinner - the dinner table is abuzz with talk of summer hikes, gardens, bike rides, trips South, grills and picnics, and everything else the warm weather brings.

Curtis' and my clock project was put on hold as I had to build first a drill press to get accurate holes, and then a jig for the router so we can make custom dowels and pins to hold it all together. The latter jig is still only in my head, and I got sidetracked building some bike racks for the coming riding season, so it's high time to get working on it again!

Other things that have happened since my last post . . . I discovered a copycat recipe for Olive Garden breadsticks, which, paired with Ems' copycat Olive Garden lasagna, are quite tasty, if I may say so myself! On the healthy side, I tried a mango-banana-strawberry smoothie, and later, an ultimate chocolate milkshake (Note: the milkshake is in the healthy category because, after all, milk comes from grass, and chocolate comes from cocoa trees, so it's basically blended salad greens ;)
I recently read a great article by John Fisch over on www.singletracks.com, on the subject of "Growing Up vs. Growing Old." Here's a section I especially liked, about the importance of enjoying the moment and making the best use of time (Read the rest of the article here):

A little grey need not keep you off the bike! (photo: BetterRide)

. . . Why is it that so many choose to age passively, to rail in vain against
the natural order of things, or worse, to say that since one’s best days
are behind, why look forward?

. . . Baggage is bad. Carrying baggage wastes time and energy, our two
most precious resources. Time in particular is a non-renewable
resource. Once it’s gone, there’s nothing we can do to regain it.
That’s why wasting time is so tragic. That’s why we tend to agonize
over things we should have done differently. But that agonizing only
perpetuates the process of wasting time. As tragic as the loss of past
time may be, the one thing even more tragic is wasting the time we have
left. Worrying about the past only prevents us from fully enjoying the
present and preparing for the best possible tomorrow. “Could’a,”
“Should’a,” and “Would’a” ought’a be four letter words, as they add
nothing to the joy of life. Part of growing up is learning to shed
baggage. Those who keep dragging it around get old. My relatively late
entry into mountain biking brought with it both baggage as well as the
wisdom to leave it behind.

I didn’t get my first bike until age 35, and the sport immediately
provided me with a unique pleasure which literally transformed my life.
It made me both fitter and happier. The benefits were physical,
mental, emotional, and spiritual. Having found such enjoyment, I soon
began to lament the fact that I had waited until middle age to get
started. At 35, I had already peaked physically and knew I would never
be the cyclist I could have been. I found the situation intolerable.
How could I have denied myself this? Just think of all the great
experiences I could have had, all the great trails I could have ridden,
had I started earlier! Look at all I’ve missed! But as I matured over
the next few years, I realized all that negativity was impacting my
ability to enjoy the wonder that was currently laid out before me, and I
resolved to waste not one iota of thought or energy lamenting what
could have been, but rather I exploited it in service of what is and
what could be.

A week or so ago we had one of those days that is just about perfect. Now, here in Vermont, we get a lot of those days, but on this particular day, Austin and I had been studying chemistry all morning, and were feeling just about done in. The rest of the family was busy, but the two of us were free, so on a sudden whim we grabbed our snowshoes and headed out for a hike up Stowe Pinnacle - a rocky knob in the Hunger Mountain ridge, overlooking Mt. Mansfield, Camel's Hump, and Stowe Village.
As always, it was an amazing hike, with breathtaking views of the Green Mountains and beyond. Augs and I do a lot together, and I can't think of a better way to spend an afternoon than hiking a winding Vermont trail with him . . . unless it's biking the Perry Hill trails, running cross-country together, or working on a project like our homemade recumbent bicycle . . .

The morning was like so many others. I sat in a briefing room listening to a military commander describe the current situation in Somaliland. Conditions changed daily, and these updates were a regular occurrence. The meeting was drawing to a close when a colleague burst into the room. Normally, it would not have been proper to interrupt this kind of meeting, but he was obviously shaken by something that had happened. Interrupting the military commander, this is what he said:

"Most of you know that our organization has worked in Somaliland for decades. I have just been informed that, this morning, four Somali believers we have worked with have, in separate incidents, been ambushed and killed on their way to work. Our office has already received an ultimatum telling us that if our organization doesn't pull out of Somaliland immediately, everyone who works for us will be killed." With tears running down his face, he added, "We have no choice but to leave!" With that declaration, he turned and left as quickly as he had come.

. . . As I thought about my murdered friends, I suddenly became so angry at the evil that I cried out to God like an Old Testament prophet wanting to call down destruction from on high.

"Why don't you just destroy these people, Lord?" I demanded to know. "They have already killed almost all of your children in this country. Not one of these people deserves your salvation or your grace!"

The Spirit of God spoke to my heart in that instant: Neither do you, Nik! You were no less lost than they are - but, by my grace, you were born in an environment where you could hear, understand and believe. These people have not had that opportunity.

God reminded me of a truth from Scripture, "Even while you were still a sinner, Christ died for you." Then another thought came to mind: And Christ died not only for you, Nik, but for every Somali in the Horn of Africa.

. . . [talking to the Muslim militants] When I turned to leave, I stopped, looked back, and inquired, "Can you tell me, why would you publish a list of one hundred and fifty names when you know that there aren't that many Christian believers in the entire country of Somaliland today?"

I realized immediately how stupid that comment was. I should have just kept my mouth shut.

But they went ahead and answered my question anyway. "You're right," they admitted. "We believe that there are probably no more than forty or fifty Somali Christian traitors left in our country. But we also know that if we list the Christians that we already know about and add to the list those that we are suspicious about, then we have a good chance of getting everyone."

It was a cold and calculating strategy! And it was a strategy that was confirmed by a chilling exchange that I read in a local newspaper a day or two later. A militant Islamist had written a letter to the editor asking: "Why bother killing Somali Christians - wouldn't it be a more effective strategy just to kill the Westerners that they associate with who might convert them?" The editor responded this way:

"Killing Westerners," he wrote, "might turn them into martyrs. So it is not cost effective to kill western Christians whose deaths might possibly inspire additional committed believers to come to our country and take up each martyr's mantle."

"If, however, we kill off their converts," the editor predicted, "the western Christians will be afraid and they will go home." The editor's conclusion was chilling: "These western Christians will not be able to watch their converts be killed. When their converts are killed, the western Christians will leave."

As much as I wanted to object, I knew that there was truth in the editor's words. At the time of those four assassinations, there were approximately seventy committed western workers serving with relief groups in and around Somaliland.

Two months later, there were four of us still working with Somalis.Isaac Adamshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03210611849967643913noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2100117710226855575.post-9047659137660540492015-01-19T17:29:00.001-08:002015-01-19T17:29:28.624-08:00How to organize receipts
It's the start of the new year, and since I love both organization and finances, I decided last Saturday to set up an easy system for organizing my receipts this year.

After scouring the web, I finally found an amazingly simple yet effective method on www.howtocleanstuff.net. I highly recommend you check it out.

The author lays it all out step by step, but the basic idea (once you have the system in place) is this: You have folders labeled with your various categories of spending. Every time you get a receipt, simply place it in the appropriate folder. At the end of the month, put each folder's contents in a business envelope, and store all that month's envelopes in another folder, marked for that month.

I added a "taxes" folder for all my tax returns and related information. And for online receipts, I save them into a folder on the computer, and will simply print them off at the end of each month and include them with that month's other receipts.

I recently found this great
test for checking your parenting abilities! For any of you like me who want to have a really large family, you can now know with certainty
whether you are up to the task of caring for little ones. :)

MESS TEST - Smear peanut butter on the sofa and curtains. Place a fish stick
behind the couch and leave it there all summer.

TOY TEST - Obtain a 55 gallon box of Legos. Have a friend spread them all over the house. Put on a blindfold. Try
to walk to the bathroom or kitchen. Do not yell because this would wake a
child at night.

GROCERY STORE TEST - Borrow one or two small animals (goats are best) and take
them with you as you shop. Always keep them in sight and pay for anything they
eat or damage.

DRESSING TEST - Obtain one large, unhappy, live octopus. Stuff into a small net
bag making sure that all the arms stay inside.

FEEDING TEST - Obtain a large plastic milk jug. Fill halfway with water.
Suspend from the ceiling with a cord. Start the jug swinging. Try to insert
spoonfuls of soggy cereal into the mouth of the jug, while pretending to be an
airplane. Now, dump the contents of the jug on the floor.

NIGHT TEST - Prepare by obtaining a small cloth bag and fill it with 8-12
pounds of sand. Soak it thoroughly in water. At 3:00pm, begin to waltz and hum
with the bag until 9:00pm. Lay down your bag and set your alarm for 10:00pm.
Get up, pick up your bag, and sing every song you have ever heard. Make up
about a dozen more and sing these too until 4:00am. Set alarm for 5:00 am. Get
up and make breakfast. Keep this up for 5 years. Look cheerful.

INGENUITY TEST - Take an egg carton. Using a pair of scissors and pot of paint,
turn it into an alligator. Now take a toilet paper tube and turn it into an
attractive Christmas candle. Use only scotch tape and a piece of foil. Last,
take a milk carton, a ping-pong ball, and an empty box of Cocoa Puffs. Make an
exact replica of the Eiffel Tower.

AUTOMOBILE TEST - Forget the BMW and buy a station wagon. Buy a chocolate ice
cream cone and put it in the glove compartment. Leave it there. Get a dime.
Stick it into the cassette player. Take a family size package of chocolate chip
cookies. Mash them into the back seat. Run a garden rake along both sides of
the car. There! Perfect.

PHYSICAL TEST (Women) - Obtain a large bean bag chair and attach it to the
front of your clothes. Leave it there for 9 months. Now remove 10 of the beans.

PHYSICAL TEST (Men) - Go to the nearest drug store. Set your wallet on the
counter. Ask the clerk to help himself. Now proceed to the nearest food store.
Go to the head office and arrange for your paycheck to be directly deposited to
the store. Purchase a newspaper. Go home and read it quietly for the last time.

FINAL ASSIGNMENT - Find a couple who already have a small child. Lecture them
on how they can improve their discipline, patience, tolerance, toilet training
and child's table manners. Suggest many ways they can improve. Emphasize to
them that they should never allow their children to run wild. Enjoy this
experience. It will be the last time you will have all the answers!
